Use Global Macro Expert with AI
Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot or your IDE to the platform's data with one URL (Model Context Protocol)
Global Macro Expert runs a public MCP server (Model Context Protocol, the open standard AI assistants use to connect to data sources). Add it once, then ask your assistant questions in plain language; it answers from the platform's data and cites the source.
Server URL

Set up
- Claude (claude.ai or the desktop app): Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → paste the URL.
- ChatGPT: Settings → Apps & Connectors → enable developer mode under Advanced → Create → paste the URL (plans that support custom connectors).
- Microsoft Copilot Studio: Tools → Add a tool → Model Context Protocol → paste the URL.
- VS Code, Cursor and other MCP clients: add a server of type
httpwith this URL, for example{"servers": {"global-macro-expert": {"type": "http", "url": "https://globalmacro.expert/mcp"}}}.
Menu names change from time to time in each assistant; look for "connectors", "MCP" or "tools".

- "How have large speculators positioned in gold and the yen over the last year?"
- "Compare the EIA, ECB and World Bank paths for Brent over the next two years."
- "Who are the largest copper and lithium producers, and where are the reserves?"
- "When is the next ECB decision, and what did the last FOMC statement say?"
- "What does an average-wage employee cost the employer in Hungary, Austria and Germany, and how much do they take home?"
- "Where in the EU is household electricity cheapest, and how much of the price is tax?"

Limits and terms
- Free and public, under fair use: up to 600 calls per minute from one network, which only stops runaway loops; at most 400 data points per series call. Bulk or commercial feeds on request ([email protected]).
- Each result names the underlying source and its licence (see Data licences). Please cite "Global Macro Expert (globalmacro.expert)" and the original source.
- The compilation, calculated series and tables are provided for analysis and quotation with attribution; systematic extraction to rebuild or redistribute the database is not permitted.
- Data for information purposes only, not investment advice. Siller Advisory forecasts are not available through the connector.
Privacy
- What the server receives: only the tool calls your assistant sends, that is the tool name and its arguments (for example a search word or a series id). It does not receive your conversation, your prompts, your name or your account.
- Network address: used only to apply the fair-use limit above. It is counted in memory for one minute and never written to storage or logs by the platform.
- No cookies, tracking or profiling. Tool calls are not stored, analysed or used to train models, and nothing is sold or shared with third parties. Requests are processed by our hosting provider on our behalf.
- Controller and contact: Siller Advisory GmbH, [email protected]. General privacy policy: silleradvisory.com/privacy-policy.
